In order to protect and develop Yiwu’s brown sugar industry, uphold the culture of brown sugar and enhance its popularity, Yiwu municipal government decides to hold Brown Sugar Festival annually in YitingTownfrom 2005. Now it is the fourth session in 2010. Except for the main venue Xilou Village, there are six other sub-venues including Xiantian Village, Xitian Village, Wangqian Third Village, Baozhai Village, and Zaoxitang Village. Since the festival has been held for four times, the sub-venues are more and more, which also indicates that the prospect of brown industry will be broader and broader here.
